Stag Beetle Count 1 June - 31 August

You can help by taking part in the Stag Beetle Count. Stage beetles are one our largest beetles. This annual survey is a Europe-wide study that will allow us to see long-term trends and take action where and when it is needed. Anyone who lives in an area where stag beetles are found (explore the map to check) (Faversham is a hotspot) can take part from 1st June and the survey will run until the end of July. The survey is organised by The Peoples Trust for Endangered Species. Register to take part at website https://stagbeetles.ptes.org/ Image of male stag beetle, credit Cliff Culver.
