Details: An evening walk around our local Kent Wildlife Trust reserve at Oare Marshes. Grazing marsh freshwater dykes, open water scrapes, reedbed, salt marsh and seawall with Estuary views. A good place to see marsh waders and sea birds and wildflowers. The reserve has the following designations Environmentally Sensitive Area, Local Nature Reserve, RAMSAR, SSSI and Special Protected Area. There is a circular footpath and some viewing hides. Meet: Near the car park at Harty Ferry

Price: Members free, non members £1

Access: Seasonally accessible for wheelchair users, in wet conditions it's not possible to complete a circuit to the east hide. There are RADAR gates, the path to the sea hide is surfaced with compacted roadstone and is level. All visitors to stay on circular footpaths.

Parking: Charge for car park in the Kent Wildlife Trust car park by using a smartphone Ringo app £2.50. Limited road parking and disable parking near the Scrape.
